This is an authentic, official world championship in an Olympic sport. It’s proud moment for all of us,” VK Verma, President, Badminton Association of India (BAI) said.<br /><br />Verma said fool-proof security arrangements are being made for the tournament, with no stone being left unturned.<br /><br />“We have an excellent report and evaluation of the intelligent risks from the Australian-based company hired by the Badminton World Federation. Based on that report, we have been asked to go ahead with all the arrangements,” he said. <br /><br />Saina rewarded<br /><br />Saina was presented with the Most Promising Player of the World 2008 award of the BWF on the occasion. She said the World Championship would put her under pressure as it was taking place in Hyderabad.<br /><br />However, she expressed confidence that she would be able to give her best. “I have played with the top 20 players. It is not easy but definitely not impossible to win matches,” she said.</p>
