11 die in 15 days in Mulbagal village

As many as 11 people have died in a span of 15 days in N Chamakalahalli village of Mulbagal taluk. Villagers suspect water contamination for the serial deaths.

The village, with 350 houses has a population of 1,500 people. Drinking water for the village is supplied from a borewell and it is suspected to have been contaminated with sewage.

The village also faces a cleanliness problem as the drains had not been cleaned.
