The temporary shelters will be built using aluminium sheets and will come up at a cost of Rs 10,000 each, replete with toilets and water connection. At present, there are 6,620 affected people in relief camps and they will be shifted to temporary shelters soon. The government will then work towards providing permanent houses to the affected. Officials have already started looking for suitable locations.
