A five-year-old boy died of illness at a flood relief centre at APMC yard at Sureban in the taluk on Monday night. The victim is Abdul Rehaman Mullanavar of Dodda Hampiholi village. His parents struggled to provide him medical aid as they had lost their house during the recent deluge. The family and was given Rs-5 lakh as compensation.
