Few days after meeting JD(S) state chief H D Kumaraswamy, actor Kichcha Sudeep met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his residence on Thursday.
Sudeep invited Siddaramaiah for the inauguration of Kannada Chalanachitra Cup(KCC) cricket tournament on Saturday.
It has been reported that Siddaramaiah requested Sudeep to campaign for Congress party in the upcoming state assembly elections.
The JD(S) is also making a desperate bid to woo actor Sudeep to join the party ahead of the Assembly elections. H D Kumaraswamy had held a breakfast meeting with Sudeep on Monday at his J P Nagar residence. Sudeep spent nearly two hours with Kumaraswamy discussing politics. This is the actor's second such meeting with Kumaraswamy.
The actor belongs to the Nayaka Valmiki community, which has a significant presence in Davangere, Chitradurga, Ballari and Raichur.
