Anjaneya takes ill during campaign

Social Welfare Minister and Congress candidate for Holalkere Assembly segment, H Anjaneya, took ill while he was campaigning on Saturday. He has been admitted to S S Narayana Hrudayalaya in Davangere.

Anjaneya was holding a road show under the scorching sun in Isamudra village collapsed after complaining of when chest pain and giddiness. He was soon shifted to the residence of a local leader where a doctor attended on him. Later, Anjaneya was shifted to Davangere hospital.

Family sources said the doctors have advised the minister to take rest for a day.
