Attend CLP or face action: Siddaramaiah warns MLAs

All eyes are now on the Congress Legislature Party meeting to be held at Vidhana Soudha on Friday even as the grand old party claimed that the coup attempt by the BJP, to reduce the coalition government to a minority, has flopped.

The BJP is keeping a close watch on the CLP, looking for absentees, and has decided to keep its legislators huddled at Guragram till then.

CLP leader Siddaramaiah has dispatched letters to all Congress legislators warning them that their presence at tomorrow's legislature party meeting is mandatory failing which strict disciplinary action will be initiated as per anti-defection law.

A few disgruntled Congress legislators including Ramesh Jarkiholi, B Nagendra are still incommunicado leaving the party leaders on tenterhooks.
