V P Baligar, chairman of the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC), appeared before the Dharwad bench of the High Court on Thursday and submitted a regret letter.
Following this, the court withdrew the contempt of court order issued against him.
After the KSIIDC assured the court that it will accept the amount through one-time settlement from Rayaji Hospital and Research Centre, the petitioner, and will hand over the property from its possession, the division bench comprising Justices Ram Mohan Reddy and B Manohar decided to withdraw the order.
