Bishop ‘attacked’ by church administrator

Bishop Mohan Manoraj, Karnataka Southern Diocese, was allegedly attacked by Sawday Memorial Church administrator Osmand N Shiri and six others on Monday.

According to the police, Mohan Manoraj, along with Victor, a new priest of Tilaknagar Church, was walking through the back gate of Sawday Church, when he was attacker.

Osmond Shiri, who was transferred to Maddur from this Church, along with his supporters Girish, Sudhakar, Samuel, Sadhananda, Jnanashekaran and Novel Parker allegedly attacked and threatened the Bishop and teh priest. A case has been registered at Mandi Police station.
