State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa said that the Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council, K S Eshwarappa, will face the Assembly polls from Shivamogga city constituency, reports DHNS from Shikaripur, Shivamogga.
Speaking with reporters on Saturday, he said that the BJP president Amit Shah has promised that the party would make district BJP unit president S Rudre Gouda, one of the aspirants for the ticket from Shivamogga, as MLC in the coming days. Gouda will campaign in favour of the BJP in the district. He also made it clear that there is no confusion over candidate for Sagar constituency.
