Cong will act after Ramesh Jarkiholi’s move: DyCM

Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi had been making statements before media that he would quit. The Congress party would take a call based on his (Jarkiholi) next move, said Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Parameshwara said, “Ramesh Jarkiholi was in Bengaluru on Thursday, but he remained incommunicado. Nobody is bigger than the Congress party which has a history of over 100 years. It is not right to bring personal issues to party level, he said.

CLP leader Siddaramaiah, Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar and I held discussions on Thursday. There is no threat to the coalition government. The party leadership knows how to handle dissent, he told reporters replying to a specific query.
