Counselling begins for SRM institutions

The following students are toppers in the SRMJEE exams that were held this year.

K V Vikram from Tamil Nadu topped the exam while Harshit Kedia from Uttar Pradesh stood second and G Bala Rathna Swamy from Andhra Pradesh came third. Among the other rank holders are Adabala Venkata Sai Santosh, Bollampalli Chandra Mouli, Vidit Tripathi, Evuri Harish, Nanduri Venkata Sai Krishna Kalyan from Andhra Pradesh, Harsh Mahajan from Maharashtra and C H V S Aneesh Kushal from Telangana.

The common counselling for BTech by SRM Group of Institutions began on May 3 and will be held up to May 7.

From May 3 to 7, candidates can attend the common counselling and seek admission to SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), SRM varsity campuses in Haryana and Andhra Pradesh. The counselling can be attended at Sonipat in Haryana, Modi Nagar in Ghaziabad, Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh, Ramapuram and Vadapalani in Chennai, and Kattankulathur near Chennai.

On the first day of counselling, Dr T R Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor of the institutions, will award scholarships to students.

The top 100 rank holders of SRMJEEE will get Founders’ Scholarship of 100% fee waiver towards tuition, hostel, and mess fees for all four years
of study. Those with ranks from 101 to 3000 will be eligible for 100% to 25% tuition fee waiver.

Others eligible for scholarships are students who excel in the field of sports, and arts and culture, wards of SRM alumni and employees as well as those from weaker socioeconomic background and differently-abled. For details, www.srmuniv.ac.in.
