On hearing the news of actor-turned-politician M H Ambareesh’s demise, a 52-year-old fan of the actor killed himself by coming under a moving train at Nidaghatta near Maddur in Mandya district on Sunday.
Thammaiah of Hottegowdanahundi in the taluk is the deceased. He came under Bengaluru-Mysuru passenger train at Nidaghatta. Sources said he was depressed after he heard that Ambareesh was dead.
