BJP leader R Ashoka on Tuesday said that JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and former chief minister Siddaramaiah would never be united.

“While a cobra’s revenge lasts for 12 years, Gowda’s revenge lasts beyond 13 years. Gowda’s acceptance of Siddaramaiah after 12 years indicates Congress party’s destruction,” he said at the Mandya Lok Sabha bypoll campaign at Srirangapatna on Tuesday.

Ashoka charged that Gowda had protested against L R Shivaramegowda decades ago, but fielded him now. Lakshmi Ashwin Gowda was let down by Deve Gowda. The state is in father-sons’ clutches. Ashoka also termed Gowda as Dhritharashtra.
