District and Sessions Judge G Basavaraju was injured in a road mishap on National Highway 209, here, on Tuesday. However, he is out of danger, according to the doctors treating him at JSS Hospital, here.
According to the police, the district judge was driving his Alto car on the highway around 10.45 am, when the driver of the Bolero vehicle, belonging to Kollegal Tahsildar, in the front, applied the sudden brake to avoid hitting a person. The judge rammed his car into the vehicle in front. He is being treated at the JSS Hospital in Chamarajanagar.
Hospital Superintendent Dr Manjunath told DH that the judge has sustained knee injuries. He is now out of danger.
