CPI (M) opposes hike in prices

They locked the main gate preventing anyone from entering the premises till 11 am.  

The protesters observed that the life of common man has affected due to the skyrocketing prices of the essential commodities. Speaking on the occasion CPM taluk unit Secretary Kolimipalli Venkataswamyreddy said that following increase in prices of petrol and diesel the prices of other commodities have also soared high making it difficult for the poor lead their daily life. Increase in the power price and bus fares have further added to farmers’ woes, he alleged. 

CPM leaders C D Gangulappa, Sriramappa, Channarayappa, Radio Kittappa, Town Municipality member Krishnappa, G M Ramakrishnappa, TMC member Majeed, Jakir, Noorulla and others also took part in the protest.
