The JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda on Tuesday urged the voters keep the national parties off the power as they never raised voice against biased Cauvery tribunal judgement.

He was addressing the public at a JD(S) party convention.

He said that Karnataka was facing continuos injustice in cauvery issue. K H Muniyappa who hails from the same district and Law minister Veerappa Moily have failed to raise the issue and justify Karnataka’s stand.

“Regional parties are ruling Tamilnadu since 17 years but they play major role in all the decisions taken by Central government. But Karnataka has always become a prey of injustice though we have two major national parties in the state. Support JD(S) and vote for Ramachandra to get permanent solution for drinking water problem,” he added.

MLC MC Nanaiah said, “the corrupt BJP government has caused huge loss to state’s exchequer and party seniors are directly responsible for it. I doubt about Congress’ involvement, as the leaders of opposition G Parameshwar and Siddaramaiah are also keeping mum about it. Congress and BJP are two faces of a same coin, they do not have moral right to fight against corruption”

Irrigation expert, Madhusidhappa said that if raised to power, within 24 hours JD(S) would find a permanent solution for drinking water problem and would install permanent irrigation system in drought hit areas. JD(S) Candidate from Ramachandrappa said that  youth and elderly people get special facilties under JD(S) government.

Kolar Gold Fields

Deve Gowda requested voters to  cast vote for JD(S) for better governance.
Addressing a party convention held in Robertsonpet here, he said, “Kolar is known for silk and milk but it was never deprived of water. But off late the city is facing a dearth of water. If JD(S) is raised to power we would try to fetch water from Krishna, Kaveri and Netravati river to Kolar” he said.

Nanaiah said that Karnataka was once known for its rich culture and heritage and now BJP changed it to the most corrupt state. “Vote for JD(S) to form H D Kumaraswamy led government and turnaround things” he added.
