Koppal, Robertsonpet, Ankola to get passport centres

»New Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) will come up in Koppal on January 24, Robertsonpet in Kolar on January 25 and at Ankola on January 25, reports DHNS from Bengaluru.

In February, Bengaluru will have three POPSKs.

Regional Passport Officer Bharath Kumar Kuthati told DH that Bengaluru North, Bengaluru Rural and Chikkaballapur would get one POPSK each.

There are already two PSKs in Bengaluru - near Lalbagh and at Marathahalli. Twelve POPSKs were opened last year and five exist already. Work is in progress to open 11 more across the state.

Kuthati said they have set a February deadline to open 11 more POPSKs.
