Narayana Hrudayalaya branch in Kolar soon

Now, people suffering from heart ailments need not travel to far off places for treatment, instead they can now avail themselves of treatment and care from the Narayana Hrudayalaya unit, that is going to be established soon at R L Jalappa hospital in Kolar.

Narayana Hrudayalaya President Dr Deviprasad Shetty entered into an agreement with R L Jalappa on Saturday, with regard to the setting up of Jalappa Narayana Hrudayalaya at R L Jalappa hospital in the city.

Addressing the media at the auditorium in Devaraj Urs  Medical College after signing the contract, Dr Shetty said, in the beginning medical facility will be created for 100 beds in the Jalappa  Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Staff of the Narayana Hrudayalaya will be providing treatment and care even at this new branch. The branch will begin to function after three months.

 Facility to villagers

The primary aim behind setting up this branch is to provide medical facility to people coming from neighbouring villages of the district.

The unit is being established at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore. The Jalappa hospital is well equipped and considering the economic status of the patients discounts will be provided, he added.
