CPI District Secretary Amjad said that mines, ores and minerals are the assets of the nation and due to the faulty policies of the Central and the State government, it is being exploited by a few people relentlessly.
“Mine lords are excavating the hillock according to their whims and fancies thus affecting the ecological balance,” said Taluk Secretary George Austin and added that the mine lords are showing their power at the State too because it is using their money that the State government came to existence. Radha Sundaresh, Ramesh and D L Shankarnath were present.
