PU results: Hassan student stands third in state

D Niketangowda, a student of Masters PU college in Hassan has emerged as the third topper in the state by securing 592 out of 600 marks in the Science stream.

Niketangowda has scored 100 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. He has scored 98 and 94 marks respectively in Kannada and English language papers.

K Sneha of Marimallappa PU College is the district topper in Commerce stream while P Sharandeep of Marimallappa's College and G Ajith Kumar of Vijaya Vittala PU College have emerged as district toppers in the Science stream.

Sneha has secured 593 for 600, while Sharandeep and Ajith Kumar both have secured 588 out of 600.

S Subhashitha of Jnanodaya PU College, Saraswathipuram, has secured 97% in Science stream. She has scored 582 marks out of 600. She has secured cent in Mathematics and Chemistry, 93 in Hindi, 91 in English, 99 each in Biology and Physics.

As many as 18 students have passed with distinction marks and 55 in first class in Jnanodaya PU College. The college management has congratulated the students.

S Prajna of Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara Pre-University College has secured 95.17% in Science stream, while M V Vidya of Commerce has passed the examination with 96.5%. As many as 46 students of the college have passed with distinction marks.

Sri Viveka Vidyalaya PU College has secured a overall result of 98%. R Asha emerged topper of the college by securing 96.16% marks. Chinmayi has secured 92.60%, K V Brunda Karanth 90.60%, Ananya 89% and Ganesh has secured 87.50%. As many as 14 students have passed with distinction marks and 26 with first class marks.

Out of a total 23 students of AMB Composite PU College, 21 students have passed with distinction marks. N Ankitha, with 93%, has emerged as topper in the college.

Neha Jagannath of Vijaya Vittala Composite Pre University College, has secured a total of 583 out of 600 marks. She has secured 99 marks each in Physics and Chemistry, 98 in Mathematics and 96 in Biology.
