Siddaramaiah relaxes in Madikeri resort

Former chief minister Siddaramaiah

State Coalition Government Coordination Committee Chairman Siddaramaiah has been relaxing in ‘Ibbani resort’ near Madikeri.

He has been staying in the resort with his son Yatindra, from Sunday. It is noteworthy that the former chief minister has been staying away from the publicity rallies of state by-elections.

However, the local Congress leaders have not been intimated about Siddaramaiah’s stay in the resort, in advance.

A leader said that the local leaders wouldn’t want to disturb Siddaramaiah as it was his private visit. Only a few people from Kodagu Congress who have been very close to him are allowed to meet him. A few supporters of Siddaramaiah from Mysuru have also booked two rooms, according to sources.

Siddaramaiah’s resort stay has come after H D Kumaraswamy’s resort stay in Udupi, raising speculations. Siddaramaiah is expected to check-out from the resort on Tuesday morning and is likely to return to Mysuru on the same day.
