SSLC results: 102 schools in Mysuru in 'Club 100'

73 pvt institutions, 29 govt schools achieve cent per cent results

In all, 102 schools in the district have secured cent per cent results in the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced online on Tuesday.

According to the in-charge Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI) D V Kantha, of the total 675 schools in the district, 102 recorded cent per cent results, with a total of 52 students scoring 612 marks and above against the total 625 marks.

The total results have seen an improvement by 7.31 per cent. Among the schools, 283 are unaided, 232 government, 135 aided and 25 belonging to the department of Social Welfare. Among them 14 unaided, 29 government and 59 unaided schools — totalling 102 institutions — are in 100’s club.

Among 40,215 students who appeared for the exams, 1,513 candidates have excelled with ‘A+’ grade, 3,935 are in ‘A’ grade, 6,606 in ‘B+’ grade, 8,944 in ‘B’ grade, 9,023 in ‘C+’ grade and 5,823 in ‘C’ grade. A total of 4,371 students have not been successful.

Taluk wise, Periyapatna occupies the top slot at 94.40 per cent pass percentage, with 3,135 students against the total 3,321 students who appeared for the exams passing in the examination. A total of 64 students have secured ‘A+’ grade.

H D Kote taluk has secured 91.69 per cent with 3,220 students passing against a total of 3,512 students, including 34 students who got ‘A+’ grade. Hunsur has secured 91.36 per cent, with 3,678 students against a total of 4,026 students passing the exams, including 81 students obtaining ‘A+’ grade.

Mysuru rural has secured 89.82 per cent, with 4,165 students against a total of 4,637 students passing the exams, including 80 students obtaining ‘A+’ grade. K R Nagar has secured 89.69 per cent, with 2,949 students against the total of 3,288 students, passing the exams, including 75 students in ‘A+’ grade.

Mysuru North has secured 88.85 per cent with 6,104 students against the total of 6,870 students, passing the exams, including 385 in ‘A+’ grade. T Narsipur has secured 88.51 per cent, with 3,513 students against the total of 3,969 students, passing the exams including 89 in ‘A+’ grade. Nanjangud has secured 86.27 per cent, with 4,309 students against the total of 4,995 students, passing the exams, including 84 in ‘A+’ grade. Mysuru North has secured 85.24 per cent, with 4,771 students against 5,597, passing the exams including 621 in ‘A+’ grade.
