Gadag dist villages won't be included under H-K region: Dr Sharan Prakash Patil

Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil on Saturday charged that the BJP was misleading the public regarding inclusion of a few areas of Gadag district in Hyderabad-Karnataka (H-K) region to get benefits of the Article 371(J).

"Harapanahalli falls under Ballari district. Hence, it has been included in the H-K region for benefits under the Article 371(J). We will never permit the inclusion of any villages of Gadag district under the H-K region", he said.

"There has been no discussion regarding the inclusion of villages of Gadag district under H-K region in the cabinet meeting. The BJP is spreading rumours in this regard", he said.
