Goof-up at KUD exam

The exam has been postponed to June 24. KUD Registrar (Evaluation) J S Bhat said soon after the authorities realised the goof-up around 9 am the examinations were cancelled.
He blamed the negligence of the Examination Board chairman and members for the faux pas.

As per rules, the Board has to send the question papers and key answers in two separate sealed covers for printing outside the State and distribution at the examination centres.
But, the Board had sent both in the same covers, leading to the embarrassment.

KUD Vice-Chancellor H B Walikar has directed stern action against the Board chairman, who will also have to bear the loss incurred due to cancellation of the examinations, he said.
