JOIN USChief Minister H D Kumaraswamy held closed door talks with sulking ministers G T Devegowda and C S Puttaraju at the Infosys guest house on the outskirts of the city on Saturday night.
Higher Education Minister G T Devegowda and Minor Irrigation Minister C S Puttaraju were supposedly unhappy over the portfolios alloted to them. Even though they had not expressed their unhappiness vocally, their supporters have been staging protests and urging their leaders not to accept the allocated portfolios.
Kumaraswamy’s actor-son Nikhil, is shooting for his new movie on the campus of Infosys and the chief minister is visiting him on the sets. He is expected to stay overnight in the guest house. Thus, he has invited both the ministers for talks.
Kumarswamy is scheduled to take part in a thanks-giving meeting at Lingadevarakoppalu under the Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency, represeneted by G T Devegowda, at 11 am on Sunday. He had kick-started his election campaign ‘Kumara Parva’ at the same village on November 7, 2017.
