ICSE results, Bengaluru girl tops the country

Bengaluru girl Vibha Swaminathan from Mallya Aditi School has topped the country in Humanities discipline in the class 12 results which were declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations on Tuesday afternoon.

Two more students from the same school have also bagged second and third positions. While Fuzail Nayeer has secured the second position in 'other streams' category, Deeksha Balaji Viswanathan and Mihir Rajendra Rajmane have emerged third toppers at the all India level in a humanities subject.

Similarly, in class 10, Sadhana V from Sri Vani Public School in Bengaluru has secured the third position with 99.20 percentage at the national level.

Interestingly, the Southern region has emerged as the best performing region at the national level with an overall pass percentage of 98.91 per cent followed by the Western region with 98.13 per cent.

The ICSE exams were conducted in 60 subjects, of which 22 are Indian languages and 10 are foreign languages including two classical languages.

According to a circular by the Council, the students can check their results via SMS besides obtaining online on cisce.org or results.cisce.org
