10-day science exhibition begins

The expo is jointly organised by Department of Science and Technology, State Education Research department and Department of Public Instruction.

B D Chandregowda, president of Zilla Panchayat inaugurated the exhibition.

He  called upon teachers and parents to inspire students to study of science and take up research.

“The workshops and exhibitions like these will help the students develop a liking for science,” he added.

Member of Legislative Assembly H S Prakash said such exhibitions would create more awareness on science in students.

On the occasion, merit students from SSLC and PUC were felicitated.

CMC president C R Shankar, ZP CEO S T Anjan Kumar and others were present.
