Delegation to seek more funds for railway line

Speaking to presspersons after receiving grievances from the public at Chikmagalur office on Tuesday, he said the government has released Rs 5 crore towards the work on railway line. “We have already held discussion with the Minister for Railways Mamatha Banerjee, State Minister for Railways Muniyappa and railway officials.”
He said Rs 34.92 crore has been released for the development of 12 roads. PWD officials will inspect the road work which was undertaken in 2003 along with the contractors. If the roads were found in bad condition, they will be asked to repair. More emphasis will be paid to the reapir of Mangalore-Kadur road.
MLA C T Ravi, BJP district president M S Bhoje Gowda, CMC President H D Thammaiah and others were present.

On Sudhakar
“Chief Minister has been asked to keep away Social Welfare Minister Sudhakar from Cabinet till he is proved free of guilt,” said BJP President D V Sadananda Gowda.
Speaking to presspersons, he said “we need to think of those who supported us in worst time before sending them out. It is left to the discretion of CM to drop him from the ministry.” There is no proposal for the expansion of Cabinet and inducting Chikmagalur MLA C T Ravi to the Cabinet.
On the Governor expressing serious concern over the law and order situation in the State, Gowda said “Congress party’s hidden agenda is being used indirectly. I will leave the statement to the political experts to decide.”
