Elephant attacks farmer in Gurupur village in Hunsur

A tusker attacked a farmer Ramesh at Gurupur in the taluk on Thursday. Ramesh was attacked by a lone tusker when he was heading towards his farmland near the village.

Injured Ramesh is undergoing treatment in a hospital.

The villagers have staged a flash protest against the forest department authorities to control wild animals attack.
