HRS takes up rehabilitation works

Speaking to the media persons, Jamaet-E-Islami Hind Udupi President Mohammed Markada informed that the society has taken up the construction works of 50 houses in Sindahnur, 20 houses in Gulbarga and 10 houses in Manvi.

The society is also keen to introduce additional rehabilitation works in the area and the survey it has done on 8,000 houses specified the necessity of immediate restoration, he said.

The HRS urged the State government to take up instant rebuilding measures in the areas that are completely devastated due to flood.

First and foremost the destabilised life of the people should be immediately restored. Damaged roads and bridges should be revamped.

The lost belongings should be compensated at the earliest, he said.

HRS Coastal Zone President U Anwar Ali, Jamaet-E-Islami Hind Hoode President Maulana Mohammed Adam, Member Mohammed Idris Hoode and others were present on the occasion.
