I-Day cup football tourney from tomorrow

 
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, he said Karavali Group of Colleges President S Ganesh Rao would inaugurate the tourney at Nehru Maidan.

Teams from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod will be taking part in the tourney to be held in five categories. The tourney will be held for 20 days in the categories of primary school, high school, high school girls, PU college and degree college.

DK Superintendent of Police Dr A S Rao would preside over the inaugural ceremony. MCC Commissioner G Ramesh, Football Association patron P C M Kunhi, honourary president D M Aslam, former mayor Ganesh Hosabettu will be present, he said. Association President D M Aslam, Treasurer Anil Kumar P V were present.
