'KJP will emerge as strong party'

KJP Publicity Committee President V Dhananjay Kumar has accused District-in-Charge Minister M P Appachu Ranjan of spreading false rumours against the KJP.

Speaking at the KJP workers meeting here on Friday, he said that KJP will emerge as a strong political party in the future. The KJP will win both the seats in Kodagu district, in the forthcoming Assembly elections.

State working committee meeting will be held in Bangalore, on January 4. District-in-Charge committee will be constituted in the meeting. “The BJP-led State government has become inactive. The government has failed to respond to the needs of the commonman. The BJP government is counting its last days and has become a sinking boat,” he said.

Kumar said that Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa has no moral right to be in power. He should tender resignation, following the charges of amassing wealth disproportionate to the known source of income.

It was former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who had implemented various welfare programme including distribution of cycles, Bhagyalakshmi yojana, monthly pension for widows, handicapped  in the State. Unfortunately, the BJP government has neglected all the welfare programmes. Over 10 lakh beneficiaries are denied of the facilities,” he added.

By presenting agriculture budget, Yeddyurappa had given emphasis to the development of farmers. Leaders from various political parties, MLAs and Ministers will join the KJP after January 15.
