Kaushik, who is a 10th standard student at Oxford school, has created a model based on a plutonium reactor using which electricity can be generated. He is the son of Suresh and Bhagya of Koodu Road in the taluk.

Another student of the same school, Meghana, studying in seventh standard has made scientific model on global warming.

She has shown the disastrous effects of releasing carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide into the atmosphere. Meghana is the daughter of Mahesh and Suchithra of Halasuliga village.
They are displaying their models at the State-level ‘Inspire Awards’ being held at Davangere.
