U-15 cricket tourney: SAK 'A' wins trophy

Inter-academy match: Srilankan team loses to Indian boys

SAK A took the top spot by securing six points. Wadiba Perera Cricket Academy (WPCA) came a close second with four points.

St Joseph’s High School (state) bagged two points and SAK B came in last, as they failed to win any match.

J Shreyas of SAK A notched up 227 runs in the series with two centuries and grabbed the ‘Best batsman’ title. Vinay Dutta of SAK B with a haul of seven wickets was adjudged the ‘Best bowler’.

While Gagan S Gowda with safe hands was ‘Best wicketkeeper’, Akash M of St Joseph’s was given the ‘Best performer title’.

Sri Lanka was awarded the ‘Best disciplined team’ and Nadeesh was the ‘Best promising player’ of the tournament.
