Woman, her child drown in an irrigation tank

A woman and her four-year-old son drowned in an irrigation tank, at Koravangala village in the taluk, on Saturday.

Shruthi and her son Nishanth are deceased.

The mother and the son drowned when they took the cattle to the tank.

According to the sources, Nishanth drowned first and Shruthi drowned in an attempt to rescue her son.
