CM promises low-interest loans for women entrepreneurs

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has promised low-interest loans and land for women entrepreneurs in the state.

Inaugurating the Women Entrepreneurship Day organised by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) in Bengaluru on Tuesday, the chief minister said that the government would extend the necessary support for women entrepreneurs to set up industries. "While announcing the 2019-20 industry policy we will consider the proposal submitted about women entrepreneurs by FKCCI."

Responding to a memorandum submitted by the FKCCI, the chief minister said the government would provide financial assistance of Rs 3 crore to the Chambers for organising Krishi Mela in Bengaluru from April 22nd to 26.

Yediyurappa said he was confident of winning all constituencies in the bypolls in the state. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the event, he said: "Blessings of god and people will continue even in the bypolls and I will continue as the chief minister for the next three years and develop the state. Nobody can stop me."
