Congress processor works only against India: Modi

: Prime minister Narendra Modi continued to depend heavily on armed forces for campaigning, despite objections by retired veterans against politicising the forces. In a speech where 'Vikas' was referred only once against multiple references to terrorism, Kashmir and surgical strikes, Modi said that Congress's processor worked only against the country or to demoralise soldiers.

"You might think that processor of Congress is slow (which isn't true). Their software itself is corrupt," he said, referring to the opposition's criticism of surgical strikes and anti-satellite missile test. "Their processor only works when they have to do against the country and demoralise soldiers," he said.

He was addressing a massive rally at Palace Grounds in the city. Beginning his speech with reference to terror attacks in Bengaluru, he questioned the number of bomb blasts in Bengaluru when there was 'Mahamilavat' government at the Centre. "Wasn't the whole country forced to live under terror? Whatever was impossible to stop five years ago, hasn't it been stopped?" he asked.

Explosions were a common occurrence across the country, and Congress reacted to it by changing the Home Minister. "While they blamed him and left. But Modi doesn't change the Home minister, but the manner in which he reacts to such situation," he said.

Modi then took credit for "implementing one rank one pension scheme" and the construction of National War memorial in Delhi. While successive Congress governments had ignored this and constructed memorials for their own leaders. "Is it not an insult to armed forces?" he asked.

Don't you think Modi should be praised for what he has achieved?, Modi asked.

Commenting on I-T raids in the State, he said that people who did not commit any mistake had nothing to fear. Referring to SIT probe instituted to probe Godhra murder, he said that he was grilled for nine hours by 'ordinary policemen' and he had come out clean from the probe.

Taking a dig at the protests held by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and others, he sought explanation on why the coalition partners were protesting if they haven't committed any theft.
