Enough is enough, says JD(S) MLA on coalition

JD(S) legislator from Tumkur rural seat D C Gowrishankar, on Sunday, said enough was enough as far as the coalition with the Congress was concerned.

He said the Congress-JD(S) alliance had been reduced to defeating each other in the election. Gowrishankar said he was making this statement, risking expulsion from the party.

Gowrishankar was speaking at a party workers’ meeting here, to analyse the causes for the defeat of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda from the Tumkur Lok Sabha seat.

He said leaders of the two parties were involved in giving conflicting statements. So, the alliance has no meaning.
