Meeting to solve Hassan imbroglio

Congress Legislator Party leader Siddaramaiah on Wednesday tried to convince Congress leaders and workers saying that alliance with JD(S) is the high command and all have to agree to it.

The Hassan Congress leaders and workers were adamant that they will not work for coalition candidate Prajwal Revanna.

Siddaranaiah tried to pacify them saying that the alliance has been forged to fight against the BJP. However, they were not in a mood to listen.

Later, a decision was taken to convene a meeting with Siddaramaiah, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and working president Eshwar Khandre on Thursday to discuss the issue with Hassan Congressmen.

The Hassan Congressmen alleged that the situation at ground level is different and the JD(S) is filing cases after cases against them. The JD(S) workers are ruling in the district, they charged.
