Modi to give lessons to BJP candidates on his app

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with all 224 BJP candidates, who are in the fray for the May 12 Assembly elections, on Thursday through his NaMo app.

“Prime Minister will interact with all candidates, office-bearers, elected representatives and karyakartas of Karnataka through Narendra Modi App at 9 am on April 26, 2018,” a tweet from the BJP’s official Twitter handle read.

BJP’s social media cell convener Balaji Srinivas said one volunteer has been assigned to each candidate to help them download the app and to look into other related issues.

On Sunday, the prime minister interacted with MPs through the app and advised them to steer clear of making controversial statements before the media.

Another tweet from the BJP read that the party is celebrating #NammaManeBJPMane campaign, wherein lakhs of BJP workers will be hosting the party flag atop their houses with a resolve to win their booths.

Modi’s campaign schedule

The prime minister will campaign in the state from May 1
to 8 and address 15 rallies.

Modi would be addressing three rallies on each day - May 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8. He will be addressing two rallies in Bengaluru.

On May 1, Modi is scheduled to address rallies in Udupi, Chamarajanagar and Belagavi. In Udupi, the prime minister is scheduled to visit the Pejawar Mutt and the
Sri Krishna temple.
