Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Monday met Director General and Inspector General of Police Neelmani Raju and submitted a memorandum seeking CID probe into the case of Kasargod girl who was allegedly raped.
Speaking to reporters, Karandlaje said it was an inter-state case and therefore it requires CID investigation. The MP said that suspects tried to convert the girl forcefully. She said one of the accused in the case had already been arrested.
