Kerala BJP chief says people fed up with CPM, Congress

People in Kerala are desperately waiting for change and are fed up with the administration of the CPM and the Congress, said BJP Kerala president Kumanom Rajashekaran.

Rajashekaran told reporters on Sunday that the previous governments in Kerala have done nothing for the development of the state.

“There is no development in the fields of agriculture, commerce, education and people in Kerala are really fed up with the present government and want a change,” he added.

He said several acres of land was lost for constructing an airport in Kerala recently and nearly 40 rivers that flow in the state are drying up slowly. People in Kerala do not have food and water and are losing land to mafia, he said. Rajashekaran said there have been many cases of atrocities against dalits in Kerala and that the present government was supporting the attackers.
