‘Knowledge Factory’ goes virtual; to be held on March 18, 19

The ‘Knowledge Factory-2021’- an annual festival of insights, ideas and trivia will be held virtual this time. The popular event, in its fifth edition, has broken new ground in building intelligent citizens for whom knowledge, entertainment and social awareness form a fancy cocktail in the eclectic pursuit of knowledge.

The organisers have assured that the virtual event promises to be as much interesting if not more. The speakers in this year’s #KF2021 include Sowmya Swaminathan, Meena Ganesh, Ali Fazal, Ravi Venkatesan, Shubha Mudgal, Manu Pillai, T M Krishna among others. The online format, spread over two days on March 18 and 19 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm features three interesting conversations on each day, according to a press release.

The Knowledge Factory was born out of an idea to produce intelligent, well-rounded citizens with a mission to make the widespread pursuit of knowledge fun without being frivolous.

“We mix topics that reflect social themes, out-of-the-box perspectives and entertainment to make it all worthwhile for young professionals and older people alike with a quest and zest to expand their minds and become a better conversationalist,” the release said. The tickets for the online event can be bought at bit.ly/KF2021. The event is supported by Aditya Birla Group and Godrej Group along with St Aloysius College, Mangaluru as an academic partner and Deccan Herald as its media partner.
