BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa said that he has held a discussion with party national president Amit Shah on tickets for Lok Sabha aspirants on Friday. After discussing with state leaders, I will leave for Delhi to finalise the names of aspirants, he added.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, he said it is left to the Congress and JD(S) to decide to give a ticket to Sumalatha. However, it was not good on the part of PWD minister Revanna to comment on Sumalatha.

No efforts have been made to admit Sumalatha into the BJP. The BJP has not taken any decision on supporting Sumalatha if she decides to contest as an independent candidate, he said.

The voters of Mandya will teach a lesson to those who threaten and speak in a low tone, he added.

Yeddyurappa said the father-son duo have no moral right to speak about Modi. "The Lok Sabha polls are likely to be announced within a day or two. I have been touring all the constituencies to win at least 22 seats. There is a Modi wave all over. The coalition government is of no use in Karnataka, he alleged.

Development work across the state has come to a standstill and corruption is rampant all over. Kumaraswamy is known for cheating people and the voters will teach him a lesson in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Further, he said more than 20 Congress MLAs are stating that Kumaraswamy is not their CM.
