Vedamurthy has taken charges as the Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI) of Kodagu district.
Speaking after taking charge, he said that physical classes have commenced in schools. All the schools are adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines.
Vedamurthy in the past had served as the principal of the District Institute for Education and Training (DIET) in Udupi.
