Dead body exhumed, buried again

The anxious residents of Donikadu filed a complaint to the police on noticing a man conducting last rites near a rivulet at Donikadu in Emmemadu Gram Panchayat.

Following the complaint, the body was exhumed from the spot and buried at a burial ground in Napoklu.

Vijaya (35), a native of Assam, who was working with Kundyolanda Ganesh, had died after accidentally falling into a lake while catching a crab. A complaint was registered in this regard at Napoklu Police Station.

After conducting the postmortem, the body was buried in a public place beside the Padiyani rivulet. Following a complaint from residents, Napoklu Panchayat officials exhumed the body from the spot and reburied it at a burial ground in Napoklu.
