JOIN USThe management committee of Pushpagiri Sri Shantamallikarjuna Temple, Kumaralli, has requested the devotees to follow Covid-19 guidelines on the Mahashivaratri Festival to be observed in the temple on March 11.
The devotees are requested to wear face masks and follow social distancing, temple committee secretary Desh Raj stated in a press release.
Special puja will be held on the occasion of Mahashivaratri at Mahadeva Eshwara Temple at Negadalu village at the seventh mile of Kedakal Gram Panchayat near Suntikoppa.
Various rituals such as 'Maha Sankalpa', 'Ganga Puje', 'Ganapathy Puje', 'Punyaha', 'Pancha Kalasha', 'Navagraha Puje', 'Ganapathy Homa', 'Navagraha Homa', 'Rudrabhisheka', 'Pushpalankara', 'Bilwarchane' and 'Sahasra Deeparadhane' will be held.
Distribution of prasadam will be done after 'Mahapuje' and 'Mahamangalarathi'. Mass meals will be served to the devotees on the occasion, said temple chief priest Avinash Aradhya.
