Diversion of road traffic in Gonikoppa

To facilitate better movement of vehicles, the police have diverted traffic on Gonikoppa route.

Vehicles bound to Gonikippa city on Mysuru Road should pass through Ponnampet Junction and bus stand to reach Virajpet.

Vehicles (except buses) coming on Virajpet Main Road should enter the city through IP bunk and bypass road.

Vehicles coming from Ponnampet should enter Gonikoppa through Ponnampet junction.

Vehicles should be parked from Umamaheshwari temple to Palibetta junction (on Gonikoppa Main Road) from 1st to 15th of every month on one side of the road and from 16th to 31st of the month on the other side of the road.

Vehicles should be parked from Ponnampet bypass junction to IP petrol bunk from 1st to 15th of every month on one side of the road and from 16th to 31st on the other side of the road.

The stretch between Gonikoppa city bus stand and the curve near Mahendra building (towards Aruvattoklu) has been converted into one-way.
