Gusty winds damaged arecanut trees

Hundreds of arecanut trees have been uprooted following gusty wind and rain in Kadur.

Over 300 arecanut trees of T Basavaraju were damaged in the rain. Heof was expecting 30 quintals of arecanut this year.

"I had saved the trees from drought. Now, the gusty wind took away all my hard work," he said.
